Shard Slayer shuffled awkwardly, still new to the idea of being nice to others. She presented a confection made from crushed ice mixed with fermented strawberry jelly, scooped onto a large leaf. "This is, um, a dessert from my homeland. It's usually better in the summer though. But there's no ice here at that time of year."

She just loved their funny little faces. Plunging her face into the collection of critters, she held as many as she could before launching them just as she'd been shown. She squealed in delight watch the fish frenzy for their snack. She couldn't wait to do it again!

Entry: Bite of Passage's first instinct was to say he didn't have a favorite food but almost as quickly he realized that wasn't true. He'd smelled it coming from another booth on his way through the market. He'd never thought of anything as ever really being his favorite before but as he retrieved a rack of boar ribs and brought it back to the zikwa he thought that maybe this might be it. The ribs smelled heavily of onions, cloves, juniper and sage. It had been over a year now since he'd spent time underground with the zikwa but it felt almost natural to be gathering food for strangers again. Better maybe, because it wasn't strange mushrooms. He'd yet to regain any taste for them after his experience.
