Soul Out Of Time just shrugs. This is not the wierdest thing she's seen since she got on the stump. She just asks, "Do you think we can eat it? I mean, of all the odd creatures on this boat, I expect someone will."

Soul Out Of Time decided to give the multicolored creature another visit today. It complimented her on how good she was at throwing rocks at the log and that it would serve her well in the coming days. Did it know something she didn't?

34. Pulling on the line reveals a soggy old map instead of a fish. Tricks examines it carefully, “Could this get us home?”

Fight Risk wasn't going to let such a pathetic first attempt stop her from trying. If anything, it only made her more determined to succeed. When she managed this time to reel in a fish, she was quite pleased with herself. Until she heard the cry.

The next thing she knew, her fish was stolen by a blasted seagull!

23. A weird misshapen shark-like blob rises from the depths. "WHAT is THAT?" Tricks shouts.

Beloved Bones blinked blearily at the... boat? He yawned, wide mouthed and growling in his sleepiness as he pushed himself up to his feet. Broad hands smoothed down his trousers before slapping his thighs to beat the tingles out of them, then seized on a fishing pole as it was brandished at him. He cast it like an old hand, glaring briefly before settling his hooves through the slats of the ship's railing. It was a moment, two... ten... thirty. He began to doze, head dipping low as the bobber dipped below the surface. The jerk on the line, though, that caught his attention, and he set to the battle between beast and... well, beast.

The thing on the end of the line looked... wrong. Beloved turned it this way and that as he pulled it closer, transfixed. Like swamp water caught in a hoof-print, too many teeth at the wrong angles. The shout from the other kin broke his focus, and the beast squirmed free, and snapped the line as its bulk yanked on its thin tether. And then, it was gone.

37. You pull up a fish that has a strange, unsettling aura. It turns to you and whispers "We know."

Frog promptly threw the fish back in the ocean and turned, without a word and trotted back below. Not today, ocean.

38. You pull up a giant acorn with a face carved into its shell. Its unsettling smile and vacant eyes seem to follow you.

No point in throwing this back into the ocean to torment another. In a few not very tasty but very satisfying bites, You Hide I Hunt devours the creepy acorn.

Dwelling in the roots there was an
Erratic ermine named
Sparrow who was always so hungry.
Pretty much every day he would
Angrily wait for the tree to drop a fruit.
Irate at the rate of fruit drops, he
Rained terror on the roots, slowing even more the drop of fruits.

4. As you tug at the line, a chicken surfaces, squawking loudly.

There's a quick grab of the line and the totoma tugs, mouth dropping open in surprise as a chicken emerges. It squawks and flaps it wings wildly and he's confounded. He's never caught a chicken before. Maybe he's not very good at fishing? Is there something wrong with this water? The line? He hums, bewildered. Maybe tomorrow . . .

24. You pull up a piece of coral that glows faintly.

Soul Out Of Time sighs at the absolute waste of time she spent fishing today. Today's catch wasn't even a fish. But perhaps the multicolored creature at the bottom of the boat would like this glowing coral.

The face of my foe:

For today's visit to the multicolored creature, Soul Out Of Time had a gift for it; a glowing coral she fished out of the water this morning. At first it didn't react, as though it wasn't seeing her at all. But as she went to throw her rock at her log, it made this horrible high pitched trilling sound that shook her to her core and made her miss.

It said and did nothing else after that.

Sea wasn't too bummed this time, she did catch a really nice fish the first time.
