Of Mice and Manta Rays || CLOSED! TY EVERYONE <3

Near a section of the market, there's an area with two branching paths. One path leads towards the beach, where if one squints, they can see a brightly colored doe that seems to be doing... something. She's shouting in some cases, and running in others, and does not appear to be in an distress, save her own irritation.

The other path leads towards a jungle area, where you can hear the sound of rushing water and what sounds like a suspiciously large amount of squeaking. Like, an amount that is not normal in any capacity.

Which path do you choose?

1. This booth will run from Dec 2nd 12pm CST to Dec 21st 12pm CST, give or take a few hours. I'll attempt to roll Dec 22nd
2. You can only win one of each edit (so only one mouse, and one manta ray). Anyone who enters for them will be allowed to request them for bags, and for CC if I don't get the edits added to the thread after WM
3. This booth runs split between two "sections", each with their own separate tasks. Feel free to only enter for what appeals to you, as they are completely separate ticket lists!

If you draw closer to the beach, you come in view of a brightly colored doe who is chasing after a group of rays. She appears to be trying to capture one, although it's without much success. The rays, for their part, look like they're quite enjoying this game of chase from the doe, and eventually float back to her after some time.

She stops for a moment, panting, and then finally spots you. There's a moment of calculation behind her eyes, and then she says, "Hey, you seem smart. Can you help me out?"

Coral Crowned has spotted you and so she's enlisting your help in catching the manta rays. To enter for these, all you need to do is one thing: offer advice on how to catch these rays. It can be anything - she's desperate enough that she's willing to listen to most advice.

If you choose the path of the jungle, you wander along a path that eventually leads to a beautiful waterfall. Near the waterfall is the source of the squeaking - a large group of mice have gathered and appear to be creating... some sort of structure. It's hard to tell, both between the mass of mice scurrying to and fro, and the fact that the mice don't appear to be very good at their creation. Some of mice are carrying leaves to shelter them from the splash of the waterfall, and others are carrying around various items - some of dubious building quality.

A zikwa lounges nearby, watching the commotion with what appears to be quiet bemusement. A mouse carrying a leaf is perched on their back and pays you no mind, squeaking out what possibly could be commanding orders to the other mice (but hard to say without knowing how to speak mouse.) Finally they turn to you, as if only just now noticing your presence.

"Hello," they offer, a gentle smile crossing their face. "Would you like to offer the mice something to help? They might be willing to come with you if they like it."

Simple Joys has managed to snare a mouse by enticing them with an offering, so perhaps you can do the same. To enter for these mice, simply put in the form what your kin is giving to these mice. It can be anything - an enticing treat, a building material, or whatever your kin just happens to scrounge up and think the mice might want.
